Free infant/child CPR class for parents
CPR is a lifesaving technique that can be learned quickly and easily. Parents who want to be prepared for emergencies can learn CPR at a free class at the Sibcy Cline office in Lebanon on Saturday, February 28.
The class, offered by Baby Bodyguards of SW Ohio, will teach parents to perform CPR on infants and children, as well as safety tips for their home and the proper use of an AED device.
“A couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon can be a lifesaver for parents,” said Dylan Weidlich of Baby Bodyguards.
The class is free to all, and will be held at the Sibcy Cline office at 103 Oregonia Road in Lebanon from 1:00 to 3:00. Space is limited, so registration is required at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/1243374 or by calling Baby Bodyguards at 513.573.9390.
The free CPR and safety class is sponsored by Sibcy Cline-Lebanon and Baby Bodyguards of SW Ohio. For more information, call 513.573.9390 or visit www.babybodyguards.com.a

I am so excited to be teaching out Infant/Child CPR and Safety Class tonight at The Stomping Ground in Crown Heights! We sold out in a few hours and will be teaching another class in May (date to be determined).
The Stomping Ground is a parent based (former Baby Bodyguards clients), volunteer run space, that sells memberships at affordable prices to neighborhood parents. With the membership parents get a safe and kid-friendly play space and loads of great family and child events and classes to participate in.
Baby Bodyguards will be hosting a Infant/Child CPR and Safety class on May 9th. There are still a few spots left for this Thursday’s class at Citibabes in Soho. The class starts at 5PM and will run approximately 90 minutes.

See you there!!!
This is why Baby Bodyguards is developing a CPR curriculum for school aged children. What a blessing the two young boys were outside at that moment and a reminder to us all how important it is to learn CPR.
Susanna Rohm was sitting in her Marietta, Ga., living room last week with her 12-week-old son Isiah when she noticed he’d stopped breathing. Outside, two boys Rohm didn’t know, Rocky Hurt, 9, and Ethan Wilson, were playing football when they heard Rohm yell to call 911. “I said, even if it’s a burglar we still need to help because it’s the right thing to do,” Rocky recalled. The pair — who had learned CPR from signs at school — rushed into the house and led the distraught mom through the life-saving procedure. It worked. “If Rocky hadn’t been outside playing right then, I definitely would not have the baby sitting in my lap right now,” Rohm said. The young heroes’ reward? “We didn’t care if we were on the news, we just cared about saving that baby.”
